We are currently looking for a Chief Financial Officer to lead our Finance team at Anyinginyi, an organisation enacting real change to close the gap in Aboriginal Health outcomes. About the Role... Reporting to the Executive Manager Business Services, the Chief Financial Officer is responsible for ensuring that skills and capacity building occurs with finance staff. You will lead a team of 4 and provide high level support to the Executive Management team and Board. In this role, you will be responsible for: - Overseeing the efficient and timely operations of the finance team
- Maintaining the integrity and accuracy of financial data
- Managing the annual budgeting process
- Building the knowledge and skills of finance team members
- Reviewing and improving overall financial policies and procedures with the Executive Manager Corporate Services

- Tertiary qualifications and strong experience in Financial Management
- Minimum of 7 years experience as a Senior Financial Manager in a diverse organisation
- proven experience in leading a team carrying out Financial and Grant acquittal reporting, Preparation and lodgement of BAS, PAYG and other tax compliance obligations
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Experience in mentoring, supporting and supervising staff as well as monitoring and addressing performance
- Professional qualification as CA/CPA
- Current Driver's licence
- OCHRE Card (Working with Children) or the ability to apply
