  • Salary range: $102,260 to $109,259 per annum
  • Up to $5,000 relocation assistance and up to $5,000 repatriation assistance
  • 6 weeks annual leave + 10 days of personal/carer's leave

About Us:

 

We are an Abo­rig­i­nal com­mu­ni­ty-con­trolled organ­i­sa­tion com­mit­ted to achiev­ing health equi­ty for Abo­rig­i­nal peo­ple in the Bark­ly region. To achieve our goal, we employ over 100 peo­ple across a diverse range of roles in each of our key sec­tions of Health Ser­vices, Pub­lic Health, Stronger Fam­i­lies and Cor­po­rate Services.

 

About the Role:

 

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will be required to provide high quality health care services to the population of Tennant Creek and the surrounding Barkly communities. 

 

You will play an important role in delivering team goals to manage illness, promote well-being, maintain health systems, provide education and encourage community health action. 

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Participate in all areas of primary health care service delivery. 
  • Undertake a wide range of nursing duties. 
  • Participate in multidisciplinary decision-making pertaining to client care.
  • Completion of health checks, care plans and team care arrangements
  • Medication administration
  • Facilitate telehealth to promote continuity of care.
  • Deliver Health education and promotion.

About You:

  • Current Registered Nurse AHPRA registration
  • Able to abide by CARPA Standard Treatment Manual
  • Demonstrated knowledge, interpersonal skills and ability to sensitively communicate with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, values and beliefs.
  • Ability to communicate sensitively and culturally appropriate.
  • Current certification to administrate vaccines in the NT (or able to obtain)
  • Experience, skills and knowledge in multidisciplinary teamwork and conflict.

  • High level of communication, negotiation and consultation skills
  • Knowledge and experience monitoring health and safety standards
  • Current NT drivers' license 
  • Meet Public Health Orders for health industry workers in NT
  • Be full COVID -19 Vaccinated
